We hear it all the time: “You are what you eat.” Many of us resent the saying, but it’s true. In the case of abortion and liberal feminism, “you are what you bleat.” Decades of bemoaning the suppression of women’s “equality” have distilled the liberal feminist movement into one simple word: death.

Life requires harmony. We see it throughout nature. Without harmony breakdown results, and chaos ensues.

This is what liberal feminism does. It causes breakdowns and chaos with its persistent objective to divide genders. Like a self-loathing individual, it spews animus toward everyone, especially men. Patriarchy, with all of its history of failed humanity, is supplanted with narcissistic radicalism. Men are hated. Men are scorned. Men are unneeded.

FATHERHOOD-BILLBOARD-WNowhere is this more evident than in the issue of abortion. On one hand, men are demonized for abandoning women to raise children on their own. Yet if anyone suggests that a man’s responsibility as a father begins in the womb, pro-abortion feminists grasp at anything to make sure those chasms between men and women are never bridged. Rather than promote harmony between genders, this movement desperately depends upon vitriolic conflict.

Pro-abortion activist, Amanda Marcotte, in her predictable liberal feminist dour way, decries the tyranny of the home-cooked meal. “The saddest part is that picky husbands and boyfriends were just as much, if not more, of a problem than fussy children.” Marcotte continues her rant about the burden of cooking for mothers: “It’s expensive and time-consuming and often done for a bunch of ingrates who would rather just be eating fast food anyway.”

Liberal feminists like Marcotte, in this day and age of 24-7 exposition, are too eager to reveal their own intellectual and moral The Emptiness of Amanda Marcottedepravity. In a vapid piece on Raw Story, Marcotte also whined about a non-existent double standard of “selfishness” because she wants to “have sex in every room of her house” without the natural result of pregnancy. No gender has a monopoly on selfishness. Women and men are both guilty in today’s increasingly sexually reckless and self-centered society. This narcissism becomes dangerous when another life has to be killed because these same self-proclaimed individuals (who demand collective government support via taxpayer funded abortions and birth control) can’t exercise self-control.

But liberal feminism has never been about self-control. It’s about thought control, speech control, and government control to force everyone else to bow to their control (hello HHS Mandate). Marcotte prides herself in her so-called “free thinking” atheism, which unlike other atheists I know (Kelsey Hazzard), is devoid of any actual thought. She humanizes a cavity while dehumanizing an unborn (and born) human being. She’s free to think whatever she wants while those who actually employ critical thinking skills are free to expose her vulgar and vacuous rhetoric. Calling born children “time-sucking monsters” with all of their “neediness” shows us exactly how much “pro-choice” activists care for children after they’re born. Thanks, Amanda, for debunking one of your favorite bumper sticker mantras.

Marcotte is based in Brooklyn. New York is the home of Planned Parenthood and the grim statistical reality where more black babies are aborted than are born alive. She and others herald this as “reproductive justice” not even seeing the inherent racism in such lunacy.

Leading feminists like Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton called abortion “child murder” in their March 12, 1868 publication of The Revolution. “There must be a remedy even for such a crying evil as this. But where shall it be found, at least where begin, if not in the complete enfranchisement and elevation of woman?” Today’s cheap imitation of feminism doesn’t elevate anyone.

For a philosophy so often rooted in misandry, apparently women can choose no wrong.  The world is all about patriarchal control. But we’re all human; we’re all frail and in need of much self-control in many areas of life. Liberal feminists refuse to see the beauty in the cohesion of male and female partnerships, especially marriages, built upon respect and love. They see submission where we see mutualism. Men and women need each other, and more importantly, children (born and unborn) need them to work together, in harmony, to create the best environment for them.

Liberal feminism’s unbounded defense of Planned Parenthood and abortion reveals, at its heart, its rejection of biological, emotional and spiritual harmony. The discord that results impacts us all. Its cold legacy has left many wounded. This brand of misguided feminism, in a quest for false empowerment, prefers the death of millions of future (true) feminists over the prospect that their children may just prove them wrong.
