Fighting For Life in 2024

As an organization, we’ve been fighting for Life since 2009. In 2024, that fight became a personal one as Ryan was diagnosed with cancer (see here and here) in January and had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor in May. More than ever, we know the reality of this truth: Life Has Purpose! Ryan is in remission, and we’re back on mission as we head into a brand new year of possibilities.

Thank you for your support! We can’t do what we do without the Lord and without those who help us move mountains through prayer. Here are the top ten moments in 2024. And all we can say is God is good!

In one of many efforts to dismantle the disinformation establishment media, we’ve launched our LifeHasPurpose.com billboard campaign in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Nebraska and Pennsylvania. Over a million people saw our messaging on fifteen billboards in the 4-week campaign, unfiltered. All of this was possible because of an incredibly generous donor who gave $50k for this initiative. We want to expand this to a much larger national campaign which will require $250k so we can challenge pro-abortion forces like Planned Parenthood, the ACLU and their news media allies. Ryan Bomberger was invited to keynote Liberty University’s convocation in January 2024. He spoke to over 15,000 students in-person and thousands online. His “Life Has Purpose” presentation was reportedly rated by students as one of the best convocation speeches of the year. Ryan was completely surprised by a wonderful intro that included his daughter, Radiance, sharing a little bit about her Dad.

Bethany Bomberger, an educator by profession, created a She Is She patch program tailored to American Heritage Girls. Now thousands of troops have earned their She Is She patch while learning about (age appropriate) God-given design and identity. We’re excited to expand this initiative for other girl-centered programs so they can celebrate undeniable, biological, beautiful her!

Ryan Bomberger, a victor in the fight for free speech (see our landmark win against the NAACP), defends the First Amendment for a firefighter fired for exercising his constitutional right. Steven Melton, a firefighter from Arkansas, was removed from his job for posting a graphic on social media defending black unborn babies. Melton happens to be White. So, naturally, he was called a racist…yup…for defending Black lives. Watch the powerful viral video (now at over 735k views) that shreds the woke pro-abortion Left.

The Henry & Andrea Bomberger Adopted And Loved Fund was created upon the passing of Henry Bomberger, Ryan’s beloved father. The Fund was established to help defray the costs of adoption for Christian families (with a married father and mother). The McCauley family (pictured here) is an adoptive family whose story we will be capturing in early 2025. They were recipients of a substantial grant earlier this year. Thanks to our incredible donors, we’ve been able to give out no-strings-attached grants to those choosing to bring a vulnerable child into their loving family. Despite this year’s cancer diagnosis, Ryan and Bethany Bomberger still keynoted over 30 pro-life, pro-family, pro-liberty events from coast to coast. From the fundamental issue of Life and adoption, to family and fatherlessness, to racism and gender identity, to the War on Common Sense, the Radiance Foundation talks about it all from a fact-based, faith-filled perspective. We’re so grateful for the many opportunities we can amplify our life-affirming factivism. From evocative interviews with Alissa Childers, Eric Metaxas, Fox News’ Lighthouse Faith Podcast w/ Lauren Green, to news coverage from Fox News, Daily Signal, Faithwire, Breitbart and more. Our hope is that our budget will allow us to work with a new PR agency in 2025 to further expand our reach.

Rep. Bob Good (R-VA), who truly is a good statesman, invited Ryan to be his guest at the State of the Union. Of course, the SOTU was filled with disinformation from Biden regarding…well, just pick the topic. It was especially dishonest about abortion. But Ryan’s story, which defies the leftist narratives on abortion, was shared far and wide through several news articles including Fox News.

Following the huge success of our She Is She children’s book release, the guys finally caught up! He Is He celebrates adorable, undeniable, biological him. In a culture filled with distorted gender narratives, we set the story straight. With a huge focus on boys being boys, fatherhood, and biblical masculinity, our new illustrated kids’ book is a refreshing antidote to all of the confusion out there. On the weekend Ryan had cancer surgery (which required clearing his schedule of nearly every event for the next few months), out of nowhere a social media influencer, Kendall Bailey, found our book in her local library. Her minute-long post went viral and sent our book sales into the stratosphere! We had to bring volunteers in for weeks to help our staff get out the thousands and thousands of books sold to people all around the world! Every sale helps fund our work at Radiance Foundation. We were so grateful to Kendall. Never knew her before and are now followers. Grateful for her boldness, humor, and that little post that helped our work go viral.
