IT’S IN OUR DNA

DNA is that genetic “recipe” for our cells. It’s the milk, eggs, flour, and chocolate chips of life’s cookies. Ok…so maybe that’s a little too literal! But, the woman’s  group from VA Beach, called DNA, delves into the many beautiful aspects of God’s design for their lives. Lead by Pastor Tina Davis, the group is making an impact and motivating women in powerful ways.

This past weekend I had the honor of being part of their third annual conference, Divine Purpose: Redemptive Story. This life changing two-day event explored God’s heart for women, the heroines of His story. The Conference was an amazing combination of Heavenly worship, testimonies, and teachings, allowing for lives to be forever changed.

I had the honor of speaking on Friday night as well as sharing and leading workshops on Saturday. The love of God blanketed the entire event. And, I must say, there is nothing more empowering than being loved on by the God of the universe! His love sets us free….Free from guilt, shame, condemnation and all those ugly things that keep us from walking out our destiny. His love allows us to walk in peace. His love allows us to love Him back and be part of the ultimate relationship.

Romans 8:28 says, “All things work together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose”. We are all called according to His purpose and God wants to use all of our situations for good…But whether or not we chose to love Him and put the plan in motion is up to us!

There were so many remarkable women who poured out from their hearts.  From spoken word (Terri, you are off the hook!) to words spoken in prayer, brokenness was healed!

Kudos to Pastor Tina Davis and her crew.  The conference was amazing. The diverse group of young women attending were amazing. I believe none of us walked out of that two day event unchanged.
