2022 – A Year of Breakthrough!

 In news

Just a little note

2022 was an incredible year of breakthrough! From the supremely wrong Roe decision being overturned to reaching millions of more people with the truth through mainstream media news coverage/interviews, we thank God for the mission He’s placed on our hearts. When we created The Radiance Foundation nearly 14 years ago, we were walking through the journey of two adoptions and had three kids in diapers, no money, no connections, but a passion to illuminate God-given purpose. We had NO idea what God would orchestrate.

Today, we’re a team of 5 part-time and 3 full-time employees! And our team is expanding. Our reach is expanding. Our passion to help heal a broken culture is expanding. Everything we do is predicated on Love. 1 Corinthians 13:6 says: “Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth.” Despite an increasingly confused and chaotic culture, we celebrate the moments of breakthrough with our Top Ten List below. We look forward to a 2023 filled with eternal victories!

Thank you for making our life-affirming work possible. We are incredibly grateful for your prayers, your encouragement (keep sending those emails, DMs, and letters), and your tax-deductible financial support.

May you discover God in a new and empowering way in the New Year!

10. Keynoted 50 events

From helping to raise millions for pregnancy centers across the country, to speaking at colleges, to declaring truth in our nation’s capital, to reminding believers in churches and conferences across the country that the Word has the answers; the world doesn’t. The Radiance Foundation is honored to have keynoted nearly 50 events in 2022 from coast to coast and (virtually) abroad.

"She is She" book from The Radiance Foundation

9. Launched “She is She” children’s book

This project has been stirring in our hearts for years and has now become a reality. Our culture is broken and confused. Aside from abortion, nowhere is this confusion more evident than in our very core identity — our sex/gender. God created us male and female and with such beautiful and biological differences.  Our new illustrated children’s book, SHE IS SHE, explores what it means to be female…and love it! Through rhyme and super cute illustrations this book focuses on the lie of gender spectrum politics and illuminate what a girl truly is. It’s all about (undeniable, biological, beautiful) her!

8. Major mainstream news coverage

This year, we’ve experienced an explosion in mainstream news coverage. Whether broadcast interviews (here, here and here), major podcasts (here, here and here), or print/online news articles (here, here, and here) our 2022 earned news media reached a combined potential audience of 2.2 billion. We’ve received massive news coverage from The Washington Post, Fox News, The Washington Times, USA Today, Breitbart, The Daily Wire, Newsweek, and many more.

7. Launched Pro-Life billboards in Boston

We launched our new LifeHasPurpose.org billboard campaign in Boston, MA in 2022. Sadly, the Bay State has radicalized its abortion laws allowing abortion through the entire pregnancy. But we cannot stop reaching people with the truth. Laws can always change, and that starts with changing people’s hearts. We plan to take this campaign nationwide in 2023.

6. Joined Focus on the Family to help shift culture

We’ve always been grateful for the incredible work of Focus on the Family and its unwavering biblical worldview. We were honored to sit down in multiple interviews with Focus’ Jim Daly to discuss abortion, adoption, racism, parenting, and how Christians shift culture. Watch the segments here.

5. Co-led Celebrating Dobbs ADF/FRC Event

June 24th is a moment in history we will never forget. The overturning of the supremely wrong Roe decision was the miracle the pro-life movement has been praying for. Of course, the work is far from over as the battles in each individual state and via the federal government rages on. And we’ll never stop until abortion is abolished nationwide (and even then, we can’t stop…evil never relents either). Read more here.

Sally's Lambs by The Radiance Foundation

4. Tripled our Sally’s Lambs Outreach to Birthmoms

We created our Sally’s Lambs outreach to birthmoms as an extension of The Radiance Foundation. Cherish birthmoms. Celebrate Adoption. That’s our slogan. We create beautiful birthmom gift baskets that are tailored to her likes/interests to let her know she’s not forgotten. We work with birthmom caseworkers to identify and bless these precious women who chose to be stronger than abortion. Learn more here.

Henry & Andrea Bomberger Adopted and Loved Fund by The Radiance Foundation

3. Launching our Adopted and Loved Fund

The Radiance Foundation was blessed to officially launch the Henry and Andrea Bomberger Adopted and Loved Fund in 2022. It’s named after Ryan’s mother and late father who were parents of thirteen children, ten of whom were adopted. Andrea Bomberger continues to unleash beautiful purpose in others’ lives. So far, nearly $40k tax-free grants have been distributed to adoptive families. Our hope is to be able to fund the adoptions of at least 13 families in 2023, to represent the 13 children of Henry & Andrea Bomberger. You can learn more and give a tax-deductible donation to the fund here.

2. Our Factivism (via national OpEds) reached millions

Our OpEds have reached hundreds of millions during 2022. We are so blessed to be able to write for several prominent news outlets such as Townhall and The Christian Post. Inspired by the tenacity and audacity of Frederick Douglass, our factivism involves hundreds of hours of research and thoughtful graphical messaging. We are passionate about communicating Truth and unapologetic in embracing it when the world around us pretends it doesn’t exist.

1. Serving the Lord / Loving People

As Christians, we’re unashamed of the name of Jesus Christ. Romans 1:16 compels us to speak the name and create content that points people vertically to the Savior. 1 Cor 13:6 says: “Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth.” It’s why we do what we do. Christ, in John 13:34, calls us to “love one another as I have loved you.” It’s a self-sacrificial love that is unafraid of truths that never change. We’re called to love every human being, not every human doing.” Thank you for helping us to continue our mission to illuminate God-given purpose in 2023.
