Ryan Bomberger, co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of The Radiance Foundation, returns to his Pennsylvania Dutch roots in Lancaster County to share his powerful story of adoption and The Beauty of Possibility. Raised in a multi-racial family of 15, Ryan grew up in a diverse household filled with faith, love and a lot of Divine endurance.
Today, as an Emmy award-winning Creative professional he is passionate about illuminating a myriad of social issues in the context of God-given Purpose. He and his wife, Bethany, created the nonprofit Radiance Foundation back in 2009 as a life-affirming and educational organization. Their work has garnered massive media coverage from the NY Times, USA Today, LA Times, MSNBC, CNN, ABC WorldNews, the Associated Press, HuffPo, Charisma, World Magazine, NPR, JET, ChristianPost, BET, Yahoo!News, and many other news outlets for their pro-life/pro-adoption efforts. Despite igniting a media firestorm over their abortion awareness initiative, TooManyAborted.com, their work is far from over. Their latest initiative, www.AdoptedandLoved.com, also powerfully shows how most adoptees’ experience is one where adoption unleashes purpose, hope, justice and love.
Ryan has spoken to hundreds of thousands over the years as a featured speaker in conferences, on college and high school campuses, at churches, at adoption events, and in pregnancy care center banquets around the country. The University of Notre Dame, Quinnipiac University, Saddleback Church, National Press Club in DC, March for Life in DC, Georgia State University, University of Nebraska, CareNet Annual Conference, @Large Conference, Messiah College, Values Voter Summit, Regent University, and the prestigious Trinity College in Ireland (which houses the world’s oldest debating society, The Philosophical) are just some of the places where Ryan has keynoted.
He has also worked with friends Alveda King (niece of Martin Luther King Jr), Walter Hoye, Dean Nelson, Day Gardner and other true civil rights leaders in holding the first summit (sponsored by the inimitable Congressman/Colonel Allen West) on Capitol Hill on the disproportionate impact of abortion in the black community. He’s worked with Alliance Defending Freedom, March for Life and National Council for Adoption on The Radiance Foundation’s first Capitol Hill Congressional Briefing on adoption. Though non-partisan, The Radiance Foundation has had the privilege of working with courageous political leaders in protecting the most vulnerable among us in numerous other events.
Ryan’s multimedia presentation/speech entitled “The Beauty of Possibility” will explore his journey from adoptee to adoptive father and the battles he now faces running a counter-cultural organization that values all human life. His organization has been denounced by Planned Parenthood, the ACLU, liberal politicians and even sued by the NAACP.
But no matter the opposition, The Radiance Foundation is passionate about illuminating the truth with original creative content that is rooted in love and is fearless.
Join Ryan at St. James Catholic Church in Lititz to get a completely different perspective on the Life issue and be inspired by someone the world claims “should have been aborted.”
